Singer Katherine Priddy’s latest album, These Frightening Machines, is the most sonically diverse work of her career to date. Here, she covers a wide emotional range and explores what it means to keep going when everything threatens to fall apart, in order to discover where we stand within the machines and systems of which we are a part. Received with great acclaim by the press, many hailed the album as one of the albums of the year even before its release in March 2026. The new record follows Priddy’s highly acclaimed debut, The Eternal Rocks Beneath, as well as her second album, The Pendulum Swing, with which she has firmly established herself as one of the most exciting artists on the contemporary British music scene.

Priddy has played sold-out headlining tours and opened for world-class artists with her haunting vocals and distinctive fingerpicking guitar style. She wrote and released two songs in collaboration with Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and appeared on the legendary BBC TV show "Later with Jools Holland".
