Alvin Cronberg Graduating Concert - with Alvin Cronberg Quartet

Alvin Cronberg, a talented young jazz drummer, presents his graduation concert with his ensemble, the Alvin Cronberg Quartet. Alvin is based at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm but is presenting his Bachelor’s concert at the Salon De Jazz here in Cologne, as he is presently doing his exchange at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. The concert is a mix between original compositions from the band members and timeless jazz classics. Focusing on collective creation and spontaneous expression, Alvin’s musicianship emphasizes the art of making music in the moment. The quartet features Finnish pianist Tobias Schenk, bassist Tristan Sorg, and saxophonist Fabian Deschler, who recently met Alvin at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Join us for an evening of dynamic, live music that captures the essence of collaborative improvisation.
