Martin Reuthner Oktett: Just one of those things

Unter den Combobesetzungen großformatig, ist die Oktettbesetzung schon eine Mini-Bigband und reizt so die Freunde des großorchestralen Klangkörpers, das Wechselspiel zwischen Arrangement und Improvisation in schönster West Coast-Manier auszuloten.
Treffen sich die Bandmitglieder ansonsten öfter in den Rundfunk-Bigbands, im Schlachtross Big Band Convention oder zeitgenössisch im CCJO, wird es nun höchste Eisenbahn, die feineren Töne auszuloten und dem Luxus-Comboformat die Bühne zu geben.
Motor und Arrangeur der Band ist der Trompeter Martin Reuthner, der seine sieben Kollegen gleichermaßen wegen ihrer Ensemblequalität wie Individualität schätzt und daher nur allzu gern um sich versammelt.

Die Konzerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.
Ausnahmen in der Winterzeit - zB an Sonntagen - sind möglich.

Among large-scale combo lineups, the octet is already a mini-big band, appealing to fans of large orchestral sounds who want to explore the interplay between arrangement and improvisation in the finest West Coast style.
While the band members otherwise often come together in radio big bands, the Schlachtross Big Band Convention, or more recently in the CCJO, it is now high time to explore the finer nuances and give the stage to this luxury combo format.
The driving force and arranger of the band is trumpeter Martin Reuthner, who values his seven colleagues equally for their ensemble quality and individuality and is therefore only too happy to gather them around him.

The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8.00 pm CEST - the LOFT will open at 7.30 pm CEST.
Exceptions during wintertime - eg on Sundays - are possible.
